Trump Proves Himself the Master Dealmaker

'And when this happens, when we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"' - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

While CNN and other purveyors of fake news salivate over Michael Cohen’s testimony before the House on Wednesday, Donald Trump was overseas making world peace. It’s incredible to realize that world changing news, the warming relations between foes who, for seventy years, were on the brink of devastating war, and the possible liberation of millions of lives receives less coverage than garbage tier “reporting” and sensationalism of faux Congressional testimony. But the second US-DPRK peace summit happened – and we’re shouting it from the rooftops!

I hope more people wise up to the games social media and media in general are playing. All our lives, in the back of our minds, the ever-present threat of North Korea and the realization that World War Three would likely start there stirred silently. For millions of US and South Korean service members over the decades, it wasn’t just a quiet recognition, it was reality. That’s changing. That risk is dissolving with each passing minute.

The excitement was palpable in Vietnam as residents and visitors alike lined the streets and waved US and North Korean flags

Without hyperbole, February 27, 2019 is one of the best days in human history. In a world plagued by disease, violence, death, and misery, the prize of peace truly is possible. A beacon of light in the darkness shines off Trump’s golden hair.

The people of Vietnam lined the streets of their capital Hanoi to greet the US president as he arrived for the second peace summit. Trump has been received as a rockstar due to his celebrity nature and his part in making the world safer. Vietnamese people recognize what many Americans do not; Trump is a great leader that comes but once in a generation.

Wednesday’s talks were productive, according to attendants. Trump and Kim participated in one on one talks.

North Korea has also put in a lot of work to get to this point in the peace process. There have been real changes. North Korea hasn’t fired a missile since November of 2017. The regime also allowed South Korean intelligence agents to inspect their nuclear facilities. Several nuclear facilities have been destroyed by the DPRK. And, not least of all, US soldiers who fell on the battlefields of the Korean War have been brought home to rest in hollowed ground.

READ: Michael Cohen has no credibility

The first US-North Korea peace summit occurred in early 2018 after months of threats, cancellations, and delays. It was the first time a sitting US president met with the DPRK’s leadership. Trump has been personally and persistently part of the negotiation process, to the benefit of all parties, and has established a personal relationship with Kim Jong-un. It wasn’t easy to get this far. A lot of tough love and ultimatums were delivered. But it all paid off. It wasn’t a mistake or good luck, either. It was the outcome of calculated decisions made by a very smart, patient, and skillful leader. The world owes US President Donald Trump a debt of gratitude.

The world is an objectively safer place since Donald Trump became the 45th US president on January 20th, 2017. Whether Americans know it or not, whether they acknowledge it or not, ISIS is destroyed and ICBMs aren’t flying into the Sea of Japan. Dennis Rodman, South Korean president Moon Jae-in, Japanese PM Shinz┼Ź Abe, Kim Jong-un, and president Donald Trump are all going into the history books for their part in Korean peace. PM Abe has nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, but that doesn’t matter because “peace is the prize.”
